| Amerigo
Vespucci is the actual Naval Academy of Italian military navy. It was launched in 1931 in
Castellammare di Stabias dockyards. The lieutenant-colonel Francesco Rotundi was the
planner and he inspired for lines and proportions to 3 masts vessel of heroic age of sail,
with a length 83 m, a mainmast of 55 m and a sail surface of 3100 square meter. |
