| The ageless
and marvelous Star - Olympic Class The Star Class was created in 1911 from lines drawn by
William Gardner. Among monotype ships this one had appropriate measurements and ideal
proportions. The most famous of helmsmen took a liking to the yacht and thus made it
popular all over the world. Over 9000 of this craft have been built in the past 90 years.
It is still of Olympic class. |

| Sir Thomas
Lipton is considered to be the most tenacious challenger in the history of the
Americas Cup. On five unsuccessful occasions over a span of 30 years he tried to
bring the pre-stigious cup home to America. But Lipton was never daunted as he knew that
participation in this most important regatta was excellent advertising for the tea which
carried his name. Our model is the 1st construction of the Shamrock which lost against
Columbia in 1899. |
